Joya Hospital promotes medical excellence with its 1st Update Symposium on Mechanical Ventilation and Hemodynamic Monitoring

Joya Hospital reaffirms its commitment to continuous medical education by holding its First Update Symposium on Mechanical Ventilation and Hemodynamic Monitoring, an event that brought together specialists in critical care medicine, biomedical engineering and representatives of leading medical technology brands.

The symposium was held on May 29 and 30 at the Armando Joya Auditorium, inside the flagship hospital in Marina Vallarta, and was designed as a high-level academic space to share scientific advances, clinical experiences and new technological tools aimed at the care of critically ill patients.

Training that transforms clinical practice

Led by Dr. Alejandro Ríos Ramírez, internist, pulmonologist and intensivist and current head of intensive care at Joya Marina and Nuevo Vallarta Hospitals, the symposium established itself as a regional benchmark in the promotion of specialized medical education.

“Constant learning is the foundation of quality medicine. These spaces are essential for intensivists who face complex clinical challenges every day,” Dr. Ríos stressed during the opening of the event.

Expert voices and international vision

Among the speakers, Dr. Anahí Gutiérrez and Dr. Cristo Pável Bracamontes also stood out, both graduates of the Joya Hospital critical care medicine program, who shared their experiences in the multidisciplinary approach to the critically ill patient.

The event had the valuable participation of Mr. Óscar Eduardo Castro Quiroz, Colombian specialist in respiratory therapy and current Clinical Marketing Manager for Mechanical Ventilation for Latin America at Mindray. During his talk, Castro emphasized the importance of promoting academic activities that strengthen clinical knowledge in highly specialized hospital institutions.

Commitment to medical innovation

This symposium marks a firm step in Joya Hospital’s strategy to establish itself as a reference center in critical care medicine and specialized academic training. With the participation of commercial partners, clinical experts and institutional support, a path is opened to a collaboration network that raises the quality of hospital care.
