Joya Cancun Hospital was inaugurated on December 6th, 2022, being the first third level hospital we are located at kilometer 13 of the hotel zone of Cancun; we are the first health institution to be recognized by the SECTUR to meet the standards established to follow for the care of specialized tourist markets.
We focus on providing medical services with high standards of warmth and human quality. Our modern hospital has the latest technology in medical equipment, with bilingual staff trained for proper care to our tourists and local population of this city of Cancun.
The medical building of Hospital Joya Marina was inaugurated on November 23, 2000, being the first third level hospital in a tourist destination and the only one certified in the region. It is the first institution capable of offering integral medical services located in the city of Puerto Vallarta, extending its services in the region of Bahía de Banderas.

Rooms
Our Hospital has 24 rooms with ocean and/or lagoon views, 2 master suites and 22 junior suites, equipped with: automatic bed for the patient (with anti-mite protection), sofa bed, television with cable service, internet, air conditioning, full bathroom and closet, amenities (soap, shampoo, body cream, personalized slippers, etc.).
Emergencies
In Hospital Joya Cancun, we have facilities to provide medical care for any emergency; we have fully equipped rooms, with bilingual emergency physicians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Being a hospital that provides care to tourists, we are committed to offer high standards of quality and warmth to each of our patients.

Shock room, state-of-the-art medical equipment, 4 emergency beds, 3 for adults and 1 pediatric, as well as a minor procedures room for patients requiring immediate attention, 2 recovery beds and a nurses' station.

Hemodynamics
It has a state-of-the-art hemodynamics room in which the most prestigious interventionalists in the state provide their services, performing procedures ranging from diagnostic catheterization to the application of stents.
Intensive Care Unit
Hospital Joya Cancun has an intensive care unit with a capacity for 6 patients and 2 isolated if necessary; this unit provides care to patients who due to their condition and critical situation need special care 24/7, ensuring their safety in the most complicated moments and with trained medical personnel and high specialty equipment.
Labor Area
We know how important it is the arrival of a new member of the family and in Hospital Joya Cancun we are prepared for that great day, with certified specialists, as well as adequate facilities for the care of natural childbirth or cesarean section. In case of any complication, we also have the necessary equipment for timely and efficient care.
Operating rooms
We have three operating rooms, a toco-surgery room and a minor procedures room; during our operation a total of 240 surgeries of various specialties have been performed in the last three months of 2024, including 2 thorax surgeries (cardiac by-pass) with state-of-the-art medical facilities to ensure proper patient care. .
Neonatal Intensive Care
We understand the importance of providing a high quality service and warmth to each of our little patients, therefore, Hospital Joya is prepared with a neonatal intensive care ward, in order to provide the care required by our patients, it has 4 neonatal intensive care beds and a specialized medical team (neonatologists), which ensure timely and effective care.
Clinical Laboratory
We have a 24-hour clinical laboratory for the attention of any request that is important for the diagnosis of our patients.
Blood Bank
Hospital Joya Cancun has strategic alliances with the most important Blood Banks in the Municipality of Benito Juarez (Cancun), with the ease of obtaining different blood products for timely care of our patients who require it.
